My great granddad had PTSD from WWII. He always needed to lie down in his bed whenever he was feeling it.
He died last year, probably from the anxiety from it. Rest his soul.

I'm the S1 (PERS) in an air force unit (not American though), and while you could probably call me a dozen kinds of pogue lifer arsehole, I want to just make a point.
I'm a junior officer aged 23 and my life experience extends to 3 years at my academy and 3 years in a staff job. Fucking hell I feel for you guys. I've got dudes in my chain of command who are fucked up and I would walk across broken glass to help them.
This whole situation we're in is terrible and I feel bad for all you dudes who have seen terrible shit, and I want to help as much as I can.
Any advice? (assuming you're still in and being managed by someone like me)?
