The only reason I'd want to kill anyone is if I profited immensely from it, unless they personally affronted me. There isn't anyone who's messed with me enough for me to want to get rid of them. There are people I'd love to beat up and threaten with mortal harm, but only to scare and rob them.

Honestly, I wouldn't kill anybody. But between the two options, I'd choose the five. Send a message out to some filthy rich people: I want a billion dollars. Until that happens, I'll periodically eliminate one of you. Pool your money or however you want to do it, this'll stop when you're all gone or I'm paid.
