More or less yeah, but thats only true for the common/entry level classes.
once you get up higher tier classes like calc 2, mechanics, and organic chem, its definitely more mature.
To get a degree in philosophy or math. I really just wanted to be learned in something I'm passionate about.

I realized today that all my disparate dreams about forming companies or activist groups or what have you really revolve around creating a group of like-minded people to share my time with.
So I guess my dream in life is to have some real friends.
