Shit you got me. I don't usually get drunk this early, but I've been sipping whiskey all morning. Well, since you asked I like rum, or scotch. Usually though I drink Johnny Walker Black label or better. Also, I have a fondness for Crown. But yeah, I'm pretty wasted right now. I really should look for a fucking job.
I drink cider because it's cheap and stronger then beer. On my third strongbow of the afternoon. I drink to quell the loneliness.

Funny thing is my job is the main reason I drink. Not that it's bad, it's easy as shit. But god is it boring. I'm usually half a flask in by lunchtime. Favourite alcohols in term of taste are gin and beer. To get wasted I usually chug vodka mixed with beer though

I'm ashamed to say I've never had vodka. It's bizarre. I've had every other type of alcoholic drink imaginable, even absinthe. Can you recommend a good brand for that stuff? I really should try it.

It kind of works. I feel good when I'm drinking but I'm worse after. The boredom and loneliness come back tenfold after I've run out of drink.
Alcoholic here, been sober for 6 months but for whatever reason I'm really craving a drink today. Should I bite the bullet and get something? I'm just really bored and have the next few days off from work with nothing to do.

Depends on your tastes really. If it's to get wasted, any brand will do. If it's for taste my favourite is Zubrowska (bison herb vodka ). It tastes distinctly of almonds which I like.

Vodka mixes well but I can't get drunk on it.
It literally just gives me the negative effects of drinking but no buzz. I don't like the taste of any other liquor apart from cognac but that's too pricey.

Maybe I'll try that then. At any rate, considering that it's a first experience, I would spare no expenditure with it. People usually think of vodka as a cheap way to get drunk, but I know there is stuff out there that's as good as any scotch from what I've been told.

At my worst it was bad. 3 years ago was rock bottom, I gained 80 pounds in a year and a half and lost a few really good friends because of it. Been drunk a few times since but not black out.

sometimes schappes its icky. its like syrup but so tasty. doesnt even taste like booze. mix it with pineapple juice shit is killer.

A bottle of hennessey is 30 pounds here. too much. Hard cider does give me the runs, I find it takes forever to get drunk on beer though.
