The second speciality is translating, and I was hoping to become an english teacher to get a purpose in life, but, thanks to the government, I can't do this now cause from now on, only people who've studies pedagogics are allowed to teach others.

But to think about what I've seen, they're pretty much the same as european or american girls, maybe a bit less bitchy about the gender equality and stuff. Our nation does not have a strong cultural identity (we'll pass the stereotypes), and it is strongly americanized. So to get a girl, you need to be alpha as fuck, or to say you have certain "connections" with an upper social class. They fall for glitters and swag easily.
Again, this is my point of view, so it may be not correct, but the general picture is more or less like that.

I've started to learn english by playing foreign videogames when I was young. I also had access to Cartoon Network, Disney TV channels, etcetera. Then, I picked some classic english novels and red them over and over again. Like that.
I was locked in my family's house till I was 14, and I went to nothing but school. Maybe, my interest in language came from lack of communication and my love for fiction stories.
I think the idea of learning a language is putting yourself in a foreign environment. Much alike when some parents throw their child in a pool to force it to learn how to swim.

From kazakhstan into russia? there's no russian-afghan border, afaik, you'd have to go through tajikistan and/or uzbekistan. In those central asian countries, the police and authorities are closely tied with the heroin mafia, not sure what they would do to you if caught. A lot of people get caught smuggling heroin from afghan to tajikistan. US government ships their heroin from their air base in kyrgyzstan. Not an expert on the subject, but seems like a massive risk
