That's actually an area where machines are vastly more capable than humans. Machines don't make mistakes, they have access to vast amounts of data that is being updated all the time, they can make mathematically valid inferences, and calculate probabilities with precision that is far greater than what humans can do. Websites like legal zoom do all the basic stuff that people used to have to go to lawyers for like wills, and documents, you can incorporate a company or llc online, etc. Software also does research and discovery that lawyers used to do.
The reason the legal profession is in crisis right now, is exactly what will happen to the medical industry. All of the easy stuff that new lawyers used to do is being done by machines, all of the hard stuff is being done by the experts. But every year, software gets better. That isn't going to change, machines aren't going to suddenly get worse. This is already happening in the medical field and will continue to get worse.
