The thing is though by having an extra year before starting school I feel as if I would have made better, more mature choices once I reached college and chosen the subjects I actually wanted.
The only reason I say this is because when entering college (high school for amerifags i guess) I chose courses entirely based on being infatuated with a girl and didn't think about the consequences of picking subjects I wasn't even interested in for the sake of being around a girl I was not even dating. After almost exactly a year I realized how immature and stupid a decision like that was but it was too late to try and make amends, the system wouldn't allow me to go back and restart. I was stuck with half-qualifications that I hated.
Now I know that "blaming" it on being a Leo or some other arbitrary reason is fucking useless but I do have a feeling that having that extra year to just exist, possibly even fit in with peers in a fresher year would have possible made a change to this fate.

The downside of this being I have prolonged very bad situations for months and years because I was getting something out of it, as have other Gemini's I know. Double edged sword really.
One thing I learned about geminis from growing up dealing with my dad is that if you tell them you're going to do one thing then do another 9 times out of 10 they're satisfied. If you inform them of all your plans they'll stick their nose in it, if you don't they won't know the difference.
