I've been drinking Eight o'Clock coffee out of a regular coffeepot for about a year now. It's a step up from the lowest of the low grocery-store-tier coffee, and tastes just good enough that I enjoy a few cups of it rather than feel like I have to choke it down. I used to be addicted to this stimulant. I had taken a 200mg caffeine tab each day. Without it, I was unable to function properly. Upon waking up, it was difficult to get myself out of bed.
After dropping it, I've noticed I'm not so prone to irritability and unease. I can also go about my daily routine earlier. It has it's uses when used sparingly in the right contexts, but it's overall detrimental if addicted to.
