It was on sale. I can't control my drinking pace that well so everytime I buy wine or vodka, I end up finishing it all in a few hours and blackout. Last time I bought 3 bottles of bottom shelf white wine and drank those in a little over two hours and passed out. Waste of money desu
Beer is kinda nice because you can keep the buzz going from morning to evening and always have something to do with your hands when you're watching telly or shitposting and waiting for an answer. It also provides this nice insulative barrier against reality and life feels, for a moment, a lot less sharp. Downside however is the excessive energy I get from this and the consequent weight gain.

To get maximum fucked up. You have no idea the dimensions I have traveled until you pound four fingers(eight shots) with a beer in 30 minutes. When you drink straight you will learn what the real liquors are. On a side note whiskey is a pure energy drink and keeps your ass awake, but it is terrible for shots. You can down multiple swigs equating to two shots, but taking two straight shots takes some grit. I have done all the above in terms of shots and straight chugging.
