Every haircut in my life has been awful
I have no idea what to say for good results
I have no idea how to style my hair after getting it cut; I don't know what products are out there, how they work or how to use them

I've always liked through magazines and told em what I want and they'd make a lazy approximation which would never hold. I realized it just has to do with your hair.. Rarely will you have the same type of hair as another person, so i'd just experiment with ways to let it dry.. Might be able to give you tips if you describe your hair or post a picture
As far as fashion sense.. Try to match one color and then have another color. For example, black shirt, blue jeans and black shoes. Or black jeans black shoes and like a blue shirt. Just don't ever wear all different colors or all the same colors
Also, fit is incredibly important. Don't get clothing that accentuates your hips as a man. Gets clothing that fits snugly but not tight

I certainly tried but all attempts to use those sort of products resulted only in a horrific mess that I had to thoroughly wash out before leaving the house.
I just had it cut so it will be a little while before I try that again.
