5-10 years back, what did you think you would be doing at this current point in your life?
>10 years ago: thought I would be working with ad companies designing ads, making $80k+/yr, have a relationship and maybe a baby on the way
>5 years ago: a self-sustaining job making maybe $50k/yr, free from my parents, great at a competitive video game from all my free time, and if I didn't accomplish anything I will probably kill myself before I reach 25
Now? I just continue to exist.
I thought id be done with school, have a gf, a nice job, in shape, and fairly happy.
In essence the exact opposite happened. I turned to drugs at 17 at first to fit in the it just turned into something I liked to do because it numbed me down and made me less spastic in front of people. Now im a struggling musician/artist whos too autistic to make any connections whatsoever basically dooming myself immediately.
suicide, jail, loony bin or neetdom
aspirations were beaten out of me pretty early
5-10 years ago I still knew I was going to be a loser and end up like this, hell even looking back way further before I even hit highschool I knew I was going to end up this way. I know myself too well, sometimes I wish I didn't.
I didn't even think about it. I spent every single second of my youth running away from reality by various mean. Now I'm paying the price.
I didn't even exist XD

>10 years ago: no idea, maybe a game or other programmer, live alone in a small apartment in a big city
>5 years ago: programmer or software designer, Bachelor's degree in IT or CS, perhaps also a Master's degree in the same field.
>now: Bachelor's degree in IT, used to be a programmer and a software designer until two years ago, now a NEET
5 years ago I was enjoying the fuck out of video games and manga thinking I'd probably get a gf some day and had the fear that I might not lose my virginity before 18 if everything goes wrong.
Everything went wrong. I don't even remember what I thought ten years ago but I'm sure I was playing gamecube or something.
