Dog I've had for 12 years is dying. Fuck.
Put him to sleep before you regret not doing it.
He's been with you for too long to die miserably
Sell him to chinks, eat the noodles afterwards
>>26376675
I will take him to vet soon.
I'm sorry anon ;-;
>>26376634
I know that feel bro.
Just be there with him when the end comes.
That's the best thing you can do
>>26376634
At least he had a good life with you, right?Hes gonna die a virgin?
>>26376816
He fucked a few times.
>>26376830
More times than you?
>>26376928
Not quite. But close.
God, I don't even know how much I'd be hurting.
I've had my puppy for a year now and I'm so in love with the goofy little fuck.
Sometimes I think about him dying and tear up, which is fucked for me because I'm a pretty big, heart of stone dude.I worry that one day I'll have to put him down and I'm afraid what will come after his death for him, like, is that it? Is it just a big happy life and then nothingness or will he be alone and scared? Is he going to miss me and think he's been punished or I don't love him anymore?
Fuck, why can't they live longer? It's so fucking unfair.I feel the same for all my pets, it's not nearly as bad for humans, because we can begin to fathom thar situation, a pet is just horribly alone.

A relative of mine's dog recently passed away. I was fond of him, he was a great dog that came over at times to play with my family's own. It had lived a long life, loved by its owners.
It was burdened by many complications while moribund. I think a valuable lesson can be gained from this, other than the given necessary portion of reality.
Old age must be horrible, to the point where even the thought of impending death is liberating. No wonder the faces of the elderly are often so etched with distress.
Death is such a bittersweet process.

You could argue that as humans we understand death and can comprehend it to an extent. Animals however can't, maybe it's nice being completely unaware of the implending nothingness which awaits us all.
>>26377078
That's why they are so happy all the time and literally don't give a fuck when they piss and shit in public
I wish I was a fucking bird, maybe a crow or something
>always got backup on call with your birdbros
>dinner easy as a mofo when you got roadkill
>can swarm and kill large prey
fuck

Plus crows are smart as fuck. Yeah I wanna be a crow too.

I'm sorry OP :(. My dog is 17 now and she has a little bump in her belly, I fear for her every day and think about when it is gonna happen. I've already had it happen once with a ~13 year old dog, I don't want to feel that pain again. Good luck my man.
>>26376634
Be glad.
Due to retarded and lazy parents all my dogs/pets died WAAAAAY earlier than they should.
At least you have some memories and not of all your pets dying at age of 3, 4 or six.
mine is at 13 years and struggling. can barely stand up or lay down now. i think this is the year.is it wrong for me to want to get a new dog straight away as soon as mine goes?
>>26376634
Holy fine bros, he looks like he came straight out of hotline miami
>>26376750
pics, i also wanna see them put it down
>>26377556
It can barely stand up?? Why haven't you euthanized it yet?
And no, it's not wrong.
>>26377603
she can stand up and walk around, it's just difficult for her to do it. its not like shes wincing in pain everytime.and honestly i dont know why we haven't euthanised her yet. vet says shes still okay just,
