My penis is curved downward. I don't remember any instance of it hurting in the past. I've always worn tight underwear, so whenever I became erect it was pressed downwards. I never did the up against the waistband trick.
It doesn't hurt, and I'm able to straighten it if I hold it in position. It just seems to default back to pic related position, and it's kind of embarrassing. I've tried doing the waistband trick but it presses down way too hard and reorientates at the slightest movement.
Is this common? How do I fix this?

I'm fairly sure that it comes from your fap style, well it did for me anyway. It's hard to explain, but if you reach down and just fap the end part of it, while pulling the dick upwards, it bends it into this awkward position. So the base half of your shaft is against your body, and the end half is pointing away from your body as you fap. I think that's come from laziness at having to reach down so far.
I think it makes your dick more likely to "pop out" when the girl's on top, so it's given me a bit of a phobia of this position. But on the whole, girls have never really commented on it, and one night stands have been fine. I just take charge and go missionary and it works.
