Sweatshop workers aren't starving. In poor countries sweatshop workers are richer than many other unskilled occupations (other local jobs, subsistence farming, garbage collecting etc).
Corporations don't create poverty in 3rd world, they exploit existing poverty. Reducing demand for goods produced by poor people will not make these people richer, it will make them even poorer.
