How is the job hunt going /r9k/? Any advice?
>Me personally no luck, guess no one wants to hire 22 year olds who have never had a job
You can find a job, OP, just not necessarily a "good" job.
You could go get a job flipping burgers or stocking shelves at a grocery store for minimum wage, but those jobs are soul crushing. Good luck finding a cool "trade" job, they're going to want people with 10+ years experience and will turn down any pleads for an apprenticeship.
It's a rough world we live in today.

It's shit. Also 22 and have no job history or references, but I need to work a certain amount of hours in industry to get my degree.
Should I just lie on my resume?
>>26316326
Been trying but have been getting no callbacks
>>26316494
If you can find someone trustworthy and the lie isn't manor go for it. I would if I had friends or eeally anyone to back me up.

Listen closely anon.... you worked at Radio Shack from 2011 to 2015. Yes, it's a real shame they are out of business and your old boss can't be called for a reference.

Most jobs here require some kind of disability so the employer can get grant from the government...
I graduated in 2013 and have made absolutely 0 effort to find a job. When people learn I don't have a job they go "hard to find one, huh?" and then shut up with confused looks when I tell them I have not even tried
Anons what would be the best place to hit for revenge? I have enough for full gear and I need to know where I should drop by before saying goodbye.
I want payback for being unable to find a job.

GIVE THE FUCK UP.
This guy just posted his resume online and he can't find a job in the lovable stem field despite having 4 years experience IN THE MILITARY.
LUL, he is a computer science major.
Degree + 4 years experience + Military service. = jobless.
I found a $15/hour stem field job that had nearly 100 people with degrees apply, even masters.

here it is my bad

2 bachelors, major in CS
management certificate and more.
Yet people think the reason he isn't hired is because he should remove a sentence or fix a typo LOL
Being a cashier at Target is fucking soul crushing. I haven't been switched to hardlines even though i asked like a year ago and now I'm asking every time I see my HR. I'm about to apply toZumiez
>>26317787
At least you have a job at target, some of us would kill for a job at target.
>>26318762
Come to Ohio and take mine, m8. Being a cashier is no robots hope
>>26316273
I just graduated in December with a useless BA in Zoology and haven't any luck yet, not even a single phone interview.
I even started applying for jobs that require no higher level of education or work experience and even they sent a rejection email saying "After a careful review of your application materials it has been determined that there are other applicants whose skills and abilities are a closer match for this position".

Target...never again. I worked nights in the back stock area but had to do a few daytime shifts either as cashier or returns. It sucked, but at least the pay was 11/hour.
Retail is fine as long as it isn't target or walmart.

That's an impressive CV. How old is that guy?

Go through a hiring agency. I have no experience in the job I'm in but I still got it fairly easily
>>26319438
What agency did you use?
>>26316273
Finally found someone vaguely interested in hiring me
>from top ten in my class to cleaning gas station shit stalls
Sometimes it just doesn't seem worth it
>>26316273
I just quit my shitty office job to focus on college
Hopefully I won't end up like eggman
>entry level position
>requires 3+ years of experience
