The good diapers tend to be made in Europe, Such as Abrena Xplus(M4), Molicare Super, Tena Slip Maxi (no longer made unfortunately), But, there are some good US ones now too such as the Absorbency Plus from XPmedical, the Northshore Supreme from NorthShore Care (I haven't tried either of those but I've heard they are good), or Dry 24/7.

Funny you mention it. My gf wears pullup kind while she sleeps when she's on her period. If she had dated me in her earlier years, she would have probably worn thicker diapers because she had insanely heavy flow and would have to change overnight pads hourly.
