At least you never worry about how much damage you've done to your brain. I worry constantly about all the brain cells I probably killed smoking weed, drinking liquor every night, and taking robitussin on a near constant basis over the past four years.
Makes getting a security clearance easier if you want to work for the government. You could lie, of course, but for any meaningful security clearance you'll be interviewed by people whose job it is to tell if you're lying

fun fact: one of the questions on the polygraph they give would-be FBI agents at the start to get a baseline for what you're like when you're lying or telling an awkward truth is "have you ever smoked weed?" since they assume everyone has tried weed before, but if you haven't and answer honestly they will actually fail you because they assume you are tricking the test somehow

Illegal drugs are morally wrong to use because their use is harmful to the self, thus violating the fundamental moral obligation of self-preservation: therefore, all drug users are bad and entirely bad people. I do not want to be a bad person, so I do not use drugs.
