not cringe but when I was 13/14 IIRC my mom forced me to watch "The Secret" or else I wasn't allowed to play any video games.
Considering that video games were my life, it was utter, utter hell. I was so fucking frustrated. It was like sexual frustration, but worse since as a kid I never knew anything about anything, and my one source of pleasure was just taken away from me. I think I lasted all of four days before I finally watched this shitty fuckdamn movie just so I could play video games again. I remember a literal nothing from this shitty fucking worthless fucking piece of shit dogshit fuck movie except that I think there was a scene in it involving a broom's dustpan and elephant shit (srs).
I was actually an atheist from age 13-15.
I believed in it all the way up to like the last powerball, I'll probably believe in it the next time I play the lotto as well
