Hey robots. I'm actually learning something for once.
Managed to get myself to learn how to program. So far it's been going well. I even decided to make a small rpg game.
Anyone else getting out of the shithole?

Are you going to make your own assets for the game or get free assets? Also pretty sure by getting out of the shithole he doesn't mean financially, just to have something to do other than spend 12 hours a day on 4chan.

I'm making everything from scratch.
I'm making it on python . It will be a turn based combat against different bosses etc.
Prob about 2000 lines, so not very long. I'll have a gui, unlocks, saves etc. And yes, I'm not getting employed for shit with my current skills. At least I dont sit having nothing to do for the whole day.

It took me 400 lines to make snake in C with an options menu.
2000 lines for a complete rpg seems very optimistic.

Which might be an improvement on his situation. It won't solve all his robot problems but it will open doors.
