No, that's literally absurdism. Existentialism still believes that we can create meaning for ourselves; absurdism is about facing the absurd, realizing the life is meaningless, and spiting the world by searching for it anyway JUST to enjoy the search.
I consider myself a nihilist. Look, you don't have to be le edgy high schooler to realize that nothing is objectively worth anything. One day we'll all die, one day life on Earth will end altogether, one day the universe itself will end, and it won't mean a fucking thing.
That said, you can still find your own meaning, that's fine, but it won't objectively mean shit. Personally, the reason I still do anything is because I only have to worry about things mattering while I'm still alive. I could kill myself tonight but why would I? Things aren't bad enough quite yet.
