Night shift anybody?

What do you do, and what do you do during your shift to occupy the time?

Sounds like an interesting job. At least you're doing stuff all night to keep you awake.

I'm night auditing, so it's like... 3 hours of work and 6 hours of sitting around with my thumb up my ass.

Today I waxed my snowboard and ate a king size cinnamon roll while watching the entirety of the ratpack movies...

I would like to have an overnight watch/guard type of job for about a week or two. It would be nice to just sit at a desk computer and do whatever the fuck you want as long as you keep the glass door locked or whatever.
I wouldn't want it for a long-term job though. I would probably go crazy.

not bad not bad, but yeah theres a auditing station at my work also, everyone i've talked to told me it sucks

Pretty much. But I make really good money. And it's super not hard to do. There was this like... Super Neet guy that only comes out in the dark that was working here as well, and would fuck shit up all the time. Which I just can't understand.
But I think he might be getting the boot here soon. Too many strikes.

I'd love a security job. Just like driving around listening to music all night. I work at a ski resort during the day time and everyone in security tells me it's the best job, because you get to yell at people and also not do much.

lol no kidding same here it's the only reason i'm still there, are you supervisors really into there job? like today my super asked me why i wasn't running to the locations to stock product because he was doing it lol.

2 out of my 5 work days i work midnight-8am.

I work from home, doing tech support and customer service for a local software company. I sit on my computer, do whatever i want while answering the infrequent phone call, live chat, or email. about 80% of my time is spent not working.

Ditto, It's always interesting finding new things to waste my time on. I've beat Organ Trail like 5 times now, cuz it takes almost 8 hours to complete.

I have trouble finding new things to take up my time. I've overplayed most of my video games, binged every show, watched hundreds of animes. Its also killed my social life. Used to meet new people through work or school. I finished school and i work from home, i'm super isolated. Tough to make friends when you never leave the house.

I work at a family run hotel that's relatively run down compared to the major casino resorts surrounding it, but we have really good prices so it keeps the blood pumping. Because of this not really. I mean sometimes, but if they like you they really don't give a fuck as long as you don't screw up majorly.
This other guy that I mentioned earlier apparently ruined this woman's wedding by taking it upon himself to distribute gifts to peoples doors at night that were supposed to be opened during the reception and were going to be on tables. Well apparently a bunch of them were missing and the bride was like crying and shit so we had to give her a bunch of free stuff.

Whenever I start to think that I've messed something up, I always think to myself, "At least I can't mess up as bad as this guy."

You could always try and go to like... shows. I dunno really.
