The only real interaction I've had with girls was when I was ~17 in the Army Cadets.
I was a patrol commander for a group that had about 7 girls on our annual camp. These were the kind of girls that always try and be "one of the lads" and try and use poor insult humour.
They would also do the whole "what, you think I'm a bad cadet just because I'm a girl?" thing.
We did a field exercise where it absolutely chucked it down. All the girls dropped out and went back to camp after about 3 hours.
Lot's of guys drop out too (about 2/3) by day three, but ever girl in the platoon dropped out by the end of the first day.
Lot's of the people that dropped out became high ranking individuals, despite the fact they were shit and incompetent.
They complained to my company commander that I didn't show them any respect.
