Work out and get a hobby. It could be something as idiotic as building model rockets with working rocket engines (but be careful to not end up on FBI watchlist).
Why model rockets? Because it requires you to go through basic physics taught at university if you haven't. Then you dive in deeper in fluid mechanics. Then you gotta program some simulations or use existing programs for fluid simulation to design a proper nozzle shape and the shape of the rocket.
And then you have to build the rocket which means getting or making the fuel, oxidizer and just assemble the whole shit together. For easy starters sugar+KNO3 is the easiest rocket fuel there is.
Or pick something else you wanted to do.
It sounds cheesy, but you should focus on building the new rather than fighting the old.
