I get told that I look intimidating. I'm 5'10" but I have broad shoulders(6'3" wingspan), very wide face with prominent brow ridge and dark eyes. Actually everyone tells me I always look angry and that from first impression they wouldn't even come near me.

The kind of guy that walks into a room and commands attention through his handshake, his greeting. Someone who doesn't shy away from social situations but tackles them head-on. Because they have been brainwashed by the media which taps into people's tribal instincts.
If you don't care about pop culture or some foreign/sub culture they have been told to accept, then basically they think there is something wrong with you, they won't give you the time of day, they will find everything about you boring, weird and creepy because they are unwilling to try new things or give you a chance and get to know you.

This requires years of developing your social skills in high school, during which time most of us were being completely socially ostracized due to an undiagnosed mental illness, being abused at home or whatever reason we have ended up as robots.
During high school most normies socialize nearly all day everyday, easily 10000 hours over 3 years. As an adult most can only socialize a few hours every friday and saturday night, you would need 30 years of this to get the same number of hours.

Well you can't change your looks, but I think you can change how you act. I'm the guy you replied to. And despite people telling me how on first impression they wouldn't even come near me, that's what they usually say after they get to meet me and find out I'm not a serial-killer.
I just kinda abuse their instinctive fear and come in talking to them about literally anything, but I have to remind myself to talk about cheerful things and smile a lot. They're usually caught off guard by that and they end up liking me. But as I said, when they expect you to bash their head in, it's not that hard to leave a good impression.
It's kind of like eating something that looks really disgusting but finding out it's not that bad. So try to use this to your advantage. As do I. Obviously I haven't had a gf yet, but I figured getting some practice can't hurt.
