It feels much more like entering adult life than turning 18. Officially exiting the teens feels so absolute and at the same time really surreal, because you realize you have not changed at all.
It is the burial of your youth in some way.

Honestly, I feel nothing on the pictures of 20ies with birthday cakes. Are they failed normies or something? In my family we just buy a cake on someone's birthday and eat it together, needing a party is just points out the fact that you badly want to know how special you are.
Unfortunately I don't have any pictures of me other than the photos of me in elementary school. My parents stopped taking photos of me after my first sibling was born. I could have been a normie if I didn't have siblings probably.
