In my experience it has been for 1 of 2 reasons (sometimes both):
1. Major attention whore. Needs to keep all eyes on her at all times. Especially men's. More than likely has some serious mental/daddy issues
2. Mind games. It's stupid shit that people in general do, but women more so where they'll try to get the other person jealous so they can see how much they care about them. It's fucking annoying and a dead give away to walk away.
