I feel the same way anon. My father raised me on Doctor who, as he was raised on it as well. I started with Eccleston (the less scary episodes as I was a young child) and grew to love those Saturday nights spent in front of the the tv watching dr who with the family.
I think it died with Matt Smith, when they started putting in le whacky sound effects and dribbling in form of plot. I blame Moffat personally. Fuck Moffat.
