Full-ride scholarships are extremely rare in Canada, especially so if you're white. That shit usually goes to immigrants/minorities.
Reminds me of my summers. I would work and stay at my grandparents fishing resort in northern Wisconsin. The only thing people do up there is drink 24/7 and go to church, walmart, or the indian casino. They're generally the shittiest people I have ever known, worse than hood blacks.
I love that I only got to experience the best of being in the country. My cousins and I would always go fishing, wander off in the woods, chop down trees, paintball, or bring shrooms or acid and camp out on an island in the lake. If I had to stay up there all year though I would have already gone insane and murdered a few little girls by now.
Las Vegas ain't all that great a place to live in, but someone's gotta take care of the tourists.

I feel your pain, I too have given up hope on trying to find cool people my age to hang out with and be friends with.
