Got fired from a really great job at a hospital a few months ago. Was making over $60k between that job and my part time job. Part-time job ended around 1-2 a.m. Would get home in time to get maybe 3-4 hours rest.
Kept coming into work around 5-10mins late and decided to quit my part-time job because I feared the hospital would let me go. And they did, the very next day.
After a a week of depression and suicidal thoughts (kept thinking how I went from be able to live comfortably to moving back in to my Mom's house at 26), I decided to just learn programming and go back to school.
Since I lost my job I've been studying like a madman, and broke off contact with friends and family. Now all I want to do is get a few internships, hopefully a job a two, learn Japanese, get the fuck outta America, and hopefully be working for some startup in Japan in time for the 2020 Olympics. And if the Japs don't want a gaijin fucking around their programs and outdated, unsupported XP, I'll just become an English teacher, fuck it. I just wanna get away from this rut I'm in. I don't want to be a NEET.
Sorry for the blog, I have no one else to talk to about my situation.
I'm a NEET but I study topics that interest me, like math, physics, programming. This takes up most of my day. I literally have the best of both worlds.
This week I'll be getting Lexapro to help kill off my masturbation habit, so I don't waste any more time on roasties, be they 2D or 3D.
