Pro-tip I just discovered:
In axis cams, if you are streaming, you can add certain parameters to make the refresh rate MUCH faster at the cost of some image quality
compression: compresses the image with some quality loss, from 0 to 100
resolution: self explanatory
Example

you can also add the parameter "camera=" and a number from 1 to 4, if there are multiple cams
This might help with those cams that have high res but abysmal fps
