I guess. More important, if they work as a replacement from whatever you are escaping, they shield you and disable you even more. Like I said, reciprocal, I'ts both cause and symptom, but mostly a symptom

anyway, i watch anime because it's very carefree and cute and makes me feel like i have friends but without the stress of interaction
so it's probably "i watch anime because i'm beta"
