All I see is "health, happiness, and friends". Its surprising hearing that from r9k. I feel like those things are chains that keep us where we are. They're excuses. Not reasons to keep going. When someone tells me that all they want in life is personal happiness, I see them as selfish. The reason I keep going is the fact that within my lifetime our species will mostly likely achieve technology assisted immortality. To become an eternal being, and the possibilities that presents, is what makes me excited to wake up in the morning.
