Cory in the House is legendary and is a requirement to understand modern animu, in addition its prequel That So Raven as well it is interesting and acts as a deconstruction of the entire genre of anime. It is truely philisophical because it calls into question mans battle versus fate and how we are truly pawns in a game that seek some form of autonomy while never quite achieving what we strive to posses
>>25930511
This. Just what the fuck happened anyway?
>>25930630
People are unable to deal with the deep and realistic characters from Cory in the House. The tension and character progression is simply too much for plebs to handle while the higher philosophical and use of alternate history are deterrents for casuals to handle. Fujoshi bait is popular because of the R34 crowd who prefer fapping to thinking and feeling any degree of sympathy for the characters because of it we ever have the ever present red headed tsundere, or blond haired tity monster who are typically awful charecters and only serve to further degrade the medium because it raises a generation with lower expectations and fails to inspire the creativity and genius that older works successfully did.
That show is fucking fuel for special snowflake/tumblr/lesbian crowd. Enjoy your dyke cartoon, kiss less vergeon

I try to understand fandoms so I tried to read through homestuck but it was so slow and nothing made sense. What is so great about it?
>>25931546
It's pretty much unanimous with fans that Homestuck is shit these days. The core part of the plot is that there's a video game that destroys the world. This happens within the first 3% of the story so it's not a spoiler. The problem is, the 'game' is really fucking cool, and has a lot of aspects and themes to it that could be explored and played with.
However, there are also these creatures called trolls that tumblr ate up so much that the comic ended up pandering to the characters more than the plot. This made it bloated as fuck and strung it out for too long. The game they play is sidetracked and a lot of it's core mechanics are forgotten to focus on character drama.
I would still reccomend you try it out. There are some big moments that stick with you, but it's long as fuck. If you start now it should have ended by the time you finish.

I'll try my best to give it another shot then, when I have time of course.

godspeed. remember not to think about things too much. took me like a year and a half after catching up to fully understand everything that had happened up to that point. there are stable time loops and strange mechanics at play that don't become fully explained until you look back in context. the /co/ threads are pretty cool when they pop up too.
