Out of all the fucking anime you can post and you choose Black Butler?
The whole show boils down to the most unlikable shitstain of a protagonist being a little cunt as much as he wants and getting away with it because his edgy friend happens to be some godlike demon who can do no wrong. Literally chaotic neutral mary sue; the anime.
Got 19 episodes in and fucking dropped this bullshit when they still had made no progress towards a tangible plotline and were instead airing an episode about a god damn curry competition. FUCK. THAT.
One quality (You) achieved. What else will humanity boil down to...

I don't really like mecha stuff, but still I can recomment Code Geass. Sure, in the beginning the characters seem to be quite plain, but their development is awesome. And don't forget it shows war more realistic than most other animes. No "yeahh, it's pretty bad.. but hey, we got a hero, that'll fix it"...
