Does anyone else hate /lisasimpson/?
I do. She's the fucking worst character. I don't know why.
Her subplot in a recent episode was that she drank milk with hormones, gets acne, put on makeup to cover said acne, and because of the makeup people notice her and she basically becomes a roastie. (Pic related) That's like the most contrived, convoluted plot.
I fucking hate her and she ruined the Simpsons. Every one of her subplots is something bad happens to Lisa, she finds a solution, the solution has a catch, and Lisa has to decide whether to abandon the solution or live well with the catch. It's the same basic thing repeated over and over.
Anyone else hate her?

Yeah I watched a few episodes and the plot is literally "strong women" They introduce a woman in a male-dominated field (military, STEM, etc.) the nerds in Bart/Lisa's class goes "what? a women in stem/themilitary?" Homer does something stupid that affects the kids, Bart and Lisa hijinks ensues.
They really should have aged the Simpsons in real time, it would've gave them a lot more material to work with.

I recently found out the reason the Simpsons are still on the air is because third world countries are now just catching up culturally, so the Simpsons is like a giant binge watch for them.
