How do you know they aren't enjoying having you as a burden? My cat is a burden, I have to feed her, play with her, bath her, walk her. But I still love her and wouldn't have it any other way.

What's worse is that even if I somehow did manage to work up the courage to do it, my family would be hurt by it emotionally and monetarily. So I keep hurting others.

I'm ok with hurting them emotionally but my parents are really struggling financially and they paid for my education. I feel like I have to repay my debt to them before I go.
