Better if you're living in a primitive society where physical strength is the primary economic function of men. There's a reason civilizations moved towards arranged marriages, because women, simply put, were hurt by their instincts.
Without familial guidance, women pick men who may be wonderful lovers, but terrible husbands and even worse fathers. Up until the mid 19th century, arranged marriage was common in most developed societies. It wasn't a cruel system that shacked up poor women with abusive men, women typically had to approve of the match. Divorce rates and overall marital satisfaction are actually higher in societies that still practice arranged marriage. In places like India where both types are present, arranged marriages are typically happier. Plus arranged marriages worked well for land rights management and political stability.
I've been in an arranged marriage for the past 3 years and we both love each other. I've watched 3 friends from school marry 'liberated' whores from the city, one of them died from binge drinking and the other two cucked their men's lives up.
