Can I pay someone to pick out non-autistic outfits for me? It's so damn hard.
>>
You literally just need to buy a pair of non-autist shoes. Then add a non-colorful T-shirt, a pair of blue regular (not too baggy) jeans, and a non-colorful sweatshirt. Buy these from an average, non-hipster, popular store.

It's that easy you fucktard.

t. friendless virgin
>>
>>25796941
Yes, you can. I don't remember what it's called but lots of stores offer that service.
>>
>>25796941
Solid neutral t-shirt, blue jeans. Sneakers don't matter unless they're really bright, like white.

Buying plain clothes is too hard?

Jeans should have no ass pocket drawings, seams should be of the same color of the jeans or simply darker, the darker the better, Get shoes that have almost nothing on them, black shoes preferably since they'll get dirty, no slip-in shoes, always laces

Zip-up hoodies are more effay generally than pull-ups

also dont wear anything that has a fucking logo on it except if you're at a hockey game or some garbage

if you dont want to be a fag dont wear skinny jeans
>>
go buy nike running shoes
fly knits
roshes
huaraches

nike socks

cargo shorts/basketball shorts

any t shirt that isnt completely autistic
and dont ever wear a unbuttoned short/long sleeve unless its polo with a plain colored t shirt under

just dont wear stupid baggy jeans or denim shorts and i mean you look complete normie after that
>>
>>25796941
are you fat?
no?
good

get some tims khakis and a white tshirt

basketball shoes track pants/khakis

the ONLY time you should be wearing a hat if its hot outside and you're in shorts with your shirt off, or your gonna look like a fucktard
>>
>>25797178

What about for those who can't or have a lot of trouble tying shoes? Also, you didn't say no specifically to velcro...

How autistic are band t shirts? Are my Black Sabbath, Ghost, Maiden, Rush etc. t shirts making me look like I've got the tism?

They are not ratty, stained, or baggy.

Jean, T-shirt, socks, whatever shoes are on sale at Wal-Mart.

It's not hard to dress like a normie. You just have to accept that you'll look boring and will never stand out. That's the idea, to be boring. Normies are so boring. If you act boring and pretend to be a normie long enough, you will eventually become one.

It depends man.

When I got my first big boy office job I went downtown to my city's big department store where I had an in-house specialist take my measurements and make brand suggestions for free.

Even though I bought everything off the sales/clearance rack it was still pretty fucking expensive. I wouldn't expect the same treatment if you're looking at jeans and flannel at H&M.

If you're still a student or working a non-dress up job I'd recommend studying up on fashion a bit.

This is one of those areas where a little goes a long way. Men who focus too much on looking good tend to look terrible whereas men who put in a small amount of effort tend to look good.

Focus on fit above all else.

Then material and patterns. Your goal isn't to stand out per se but to fit in while appearing a little higher quality than the other men around you.

Go to JC pennys and get a couple of jeans that fit snugly. Not skinny jeans but they should follow the lines of your body and you should be able to wear them without a belt (if you want a belt to enhance your appearance or to make your jeans fit a little better that's fine too- you'll pretty much have to if you're fit like me and have a small waist to giant thighs ratio going on).

Depending on how warm it is/ how formal you want to dress go for (Well-fitting- again this is key. Everything needs to fit WELL before all else) t-shirts in solid, neutral colors, flannel, button downs and sweaters.

No hats.

Cut your hair short- some men can pull off long hair. You're probably not one of them.

Shave. Brush your teeth. Don't be gross. If you have acne fucking deal with it. Proactiv works, acutane works, generic drug store shit may or may not work. You'll have to do some trial and error there.

-Actually measure yourself
-buy clothes based on your measurements
-get clothes that are easy to mix and match like memochrome
-get ok tier jeans like Levi
-don't wear super colorful or chunky white autist shoes

It's really that simple, dressing like a non-autist takes like an hour of research and making sure you aren't wearing clothes 2 sizes bigger than yourself

Go with basics for pants and tops.

Well fitting jeans and a crewneck sweatshirt are always a good combo.

Experiment with the shoes and Jacket. Eg. Boots in winter, sneakers in summer.

Pic related: good basic winter fit. Swap out the flektarn parka for a unicolor olive one to remove the edgy factor.

That does sound nice

also the belt I typically wear was handmade in the 70s, which is why I didn't include it. it's pink with an pale orange stripe through the middle. Should I get rid of it? I like having a little color in my outfit but I could see how it might throw everything off

Ignore all these fags op. /fit/ fag who only comes here to laugh at /r9k/.
I say go to a mall, or whatever you Americans call it
Try follow some casual looking teens into a store that sells clothes. Don't do it creepily you fag, just do it casual. If anything put on an accent and ask a group of them where to buy nice clothes, say you're from England and they have no fashion sense so you need to be pointed in the right direction.
If you aren't fat and you're bellow 35 I'd say
Mustard/tan chinos
Plain shirt, not a polo, a tshirt. From the same store.
Navy blue is a good choice, White is good, black if you're tall.
Shoes, again depending on your age, anything from Nike SB to some nice enough dress shoes.
No hat, work on your hair.
Wear long black socks, white socks will do.

Same store again
Light blue jeans, not baggy at all, not skinny.
Same shirt as before.
Get a black zip up hoodie with no other aesthetics, a grey one will maybe do.

If you're the buisness type, which you aren't because you're on r9k asking this question so I won't even bother.
if you're fat lose weight

/r9k/, do I dress autistic? I usually wear
Black metal band shirts
Plain or striped sweaters/jumpers that are dark or mute colors
Flannel (usually dark, mute, or earthy colors, no gay generic red and black bullshit, except for one plaid coat I own)
Plaid hoodie with very dark colors
Dark green winter coat
Grey/black or grey blue jeans that arent too baggy or too tight
Black or dark green sneakers, sometimes generic tan Timberland boots
That's what I usually wear, is it autistic?

Step 1: Clothes that fit, regardless of bodytype.

Check out Hautelook. Basically when Nordstrom get new stuff in, they send all they're left over stuff to Hautelook to mark down and sell off.

It's their way of clearing inventory.

And they have new sales every day, so check it often. I've picked up $120 designer jackets for like $40 on there before.

>necklace

>wedding band
A wedding band is jewelry to a woman only. A man's wedding band is consistently lackluster because men aren't the ones fawning over M-MUH SHINY ROCKS like bitches do. The propagation of lavish metals and rocks as an "engagement" or "wedding" offering is hardly because a man thinks it's so much fun and excitement to spend several racks on an obsolete piece of shit. They buy it because "it's what you're supposed to do". And since women DON'T share this social obligation, a man ring is hardly anything to cast a passing glance at. It is "jewellery" in perhaps the loosest possible sense.

I can hammer tin flat and bend it and wear it but it's hardly lavish or remarkable. Just like a man's wedding ring.

That's precisely what the fucking laces are for.
You may not realize it, but laces are designed to allow the wearer to directly control the tightness/comfort of your shoes. A side-zipper for boots that short is completely superfluous. I say this as an owner of knee-high 20 eyelet boots. A zipper is necessary for those because otherwise I would spend 10min putting my boots on.

a simple change that goes a long ways is jean cut. make sure you get something slightly tapered and just plain avoid bootcut/any type of flaring at the bottom.
