>Why does it hurt so bad?

>not being in so much pain you an hero just to see your doggy bff again
>>
My cat ran away and I actually don't even care.
>>
Because we give our pet the love that we do not dare to give anyone else and the price of love is pain :(
>>
>>25751340
I'm going to cuddle with my dogs now, so that i don't regret not having cuddled them enough, when they die.
>>
>>25751340
Cry some more dog loving scum.
Stop using your stupid animal as emotional crutch.
>>
>>25751340
My dog is dying now. He has uncurable cancer and is full of malignant tumours. Goddamn :(
>>
>>25751375
that's because cat's are for psychopaths to torture, that's their only purpose in this world is to be skinned alive and all that other crazy shit people do to the damn things.

I don't even feel bad. It's be a pain in the ass to dig the graves though.

Because they're more loyal companions then any human will be.

Let's face it, within seconds of being acquainted with someone, whether it be college, work, church ect. they right off the bat will have at least 10 reasons to dislike you despite only finding out you existed a few seconds ago. Stupid normie shit like how you look, how you dress, your political/religious views, your taste in hobbies and entertainment. Dogs aren't like that at all, they'll love an only expect to be loved back

I know how you're feeling op, my doggo got ran over literally 1 week before I left for college, chased a squirrel onto the street when our backs were turned. She'd been in my life for 8 years, they're practically family members at that point
>>
>>25751527
At this point you really ought to put him down. Every waking moment of his life is probably pain.
>>
>You now realized your childhood pet existed solely so your parents could teach you about and familiarize you with the concept of death, so you wouldn't freak out when grandma croaked.

>tfw i've buried two dogs i cherished
>tfw i'll bury at least two more

It's a somber kind of feel.
>>
By the time my dog died i could no longer feel feels.

But you will be remembered pepper.
>>
>want to get a dog
>realize I'm going to out live him / her.
>become sad at the idea.

The way I see it and why it's such a destructive feel is that think about how I'll grow close to the dog. Get used to walking it, rubbing his/her belly, making it my best and only friend. Than to have it leave me. It just destroys me.

Fucking normies. True robots have no feelings because no one loves us and we know it. If I could I would bring every one of your dirty animals back to life just so I could kill it again and laugh in your face while you cry to your social media about it.

>tfw both of the dogs from your childhood have finally passed from old age
>tfw you will never pet them again
>tfw the animals who were with you for 17 long years of social isolation are gone
>>
>>25751340
People who get this emotional about their pets seriously piss me off. They're dogs. They are dumb fucking animals. I cannot see how people feel this much empathy towards an animal that we bred to be used as tools or in some cases accessories. It's a stupid fucking animal. Who gives a whistling dolphins ass if it dies. There's thousands more where it came from.

>b-but mine was speshul

Grow the fuck up
>>
>>25752946
I've always felt much more immediate and potent sadness at pets dying than relatives though. Not that i wasnt sad when my grandparents died (i was close with them), but i found it much easier to cry and feel terrible when my cat died. The sadness from grandparents was lesser but longer lasting, i think

>have 1 dog
>Lola, 14yo dog we got from the shelter when she was 3 months. Not even a dog with notable race, just a dog.
>love it till the point of considering murder anybody who might harm her
>once she had a little scrimmage with some faggot dog . from an old man, who used to pee in my front door everyday.
>Old man stared kicking her. Grabbed old man from behind with my hands around his hip, lifted him and bodyslammed him.
>feed her with everything I eat.
>sometimes I lay on the floor next to her. I'm 24 yo.
>still, she does not sleep in beds or couch, does not go out without her leash
>love her more than any relative, except por parents and brothers.
>have to live in pain with the idea that one day she would not be with me anymore. And that day is getting closer and closer.

Life is suffering.
