Nope. Life is nothing more than our brains telling us what to believe. What to see, hear, touch, smell, taste. And what to think. It's thanks to your brain you can feel the keyboard, see the keys, express your thoughts to the world. Without the brain being as developed to give us true sentience would we truly be alive? Then, are animals alive? Physically of course, but they do not know they will die. We do. We then theorize what is after death. Animals do not. And if an animal cannot have that thought and express it then humans having that thought means nothing. I'm fucking losing myself, I don't know. I'm just typing at this point, but I believe that we must not look far to find meaning in life.

It's impossible to have a past life, because there's no "you" in the first place.
Of course, the real you has been around since the beginning of time, and even if it were all to end, you would still be around when it all inevitably starts again.
So, I guess in a sense, "you" have had an innumerable amount of past lives-just you can only occupy one at a time and because of that it gives the illusion that it's the only one you have, had, and ever will have.
This is ridiculous because for starters, why now? Why, if you're so special, would "you" be inserted into your mortal being right now? Randomness? 100 million years ago wasn't your time? Tomorrow isn't your time? 48 AD wasn't your time? Who says? Is there a line of souls or, what have you, a queue of ephemeral celestial beings all waiting to be "born" to be brought into the fold of existence? And your turn was 20, 30 odd years ago? That's when your name was called?
