I have a bit of a belly fat and I doubt I'm "fit," but I think I'm definitely in better shape than the average guy. I've been 195lbs since mid-2015. I was 185 in mid-2014 BUT that was before I quit smoking.
The reason we are overweight is NOT because we are lazy, "don't lift brah" or "don't work hard enough."
My dad and all of his friends were skinny when they were my age, and they didn't work any more or any harder, they didn't work out (going to the gym wasn't even big in the early 80s), and they probably drank more beer. The reason our bodies are fucked is because we've been raised on GMO food and processed, overly salty, overly sweet shit. Sometimes I wonder if looking good takes such a devotion to a healthy lifestyle now because our bodies are permanently damaged from that shit, and we don't burn fat/metabolize food like we're supposed to.

Probably a troll post, but I'll bite. 6'3" is only "abnormally large" if you're Chinese or Hispanic. And most of the men on both sides of my family (going back to my grandfathers' generations, people born in the 20s and 30s) were over 6'0".
I was talking more about how everyone seems to have excess body fat and a shitty metabolism. Look at pictures of random public spaces as recently as the 1980s, and look how thin everyone is. Lifestyles in the 70s and 80s weren't really radically different. And even if it was the lifestyle, then losing weight should be as simple as walking more.
I'm well below average in every single way, except for my weight. I'm fat. Really far.
