i used to get panic attacks when i smoked weed. i would think about my breathing and heartbeat and would start freaking out.
if i want to smoke weed, i'll only smoke just enough to get me as high as i want to be.
if i am looking to get really high, i have to balance my weed smoking with alcohol. if i am drunk, i can smoke a ridiculous amount.
