Same here, if you act like you do on 4chan on leddit, you get downboated xD. My friends I met on Reddit see me as a completely different person to the friends I made on channel 4.
tfw qt asked me to walk her home after work as she didn't feel safe and in her words "I'm a big guy" and she linked arms with me when we went past a group of pakis. At least all this rape business has benefitted me in some small way.
Why are you here? Oh that's right, you can actually say more things without the threat of your view being downvoted.
Enjoy your privilege here reddit scum.

It's kind of like a sixth sense after a while. I can pretty much spot a redditor right away simply from the way a person types or talks.
The shallow personality and quirky humor are the most common signs. The prevalent need to pretend they are a part of a community they do not fully appreciate is also very common, this is why redditors latch on to memes to preach to the choir like they do on reddit, but in reality are just spouting old shitposts used only ironically, examples of this are pepe, baneposting and "baka desu senpai" to name some of the recent ones. There is a very distinct characteristics between a poster being ironic and a redditor using the memes as quirky jokes.
The reason redditors have these characteristics is because their minds are not free. They unknowingly post in constant fear of being downvoted, even when there's no karma system on the site they're posting on. They have latched onto a common opinion, they believe in politics, they believe in public opinion and most importantly they do not question authority.
Redditors often feel threatened when they are exposed to radical opinions or hard truths, thus they will try to click the downvote button, after they realize there is no such thing, they will try to spout memes at the original poster.
Redditors have their minds programmed to a certain set of instructions, opinions and rules. These mindsets can rarely be reversed or altered. However perhaps deep down they don't want to know the truth, perhaps they find comfort in those little up pointing arrows.

Made a tl;dr for you.
>>25647789
tl;dr is a common reddit term. Rarely do you see 4chan posts shortened into some simplistic opinion. People express themselves here, whether or not you choose to accept it is up to you.

Hi, Reddit!

DOWNVOTED GOOD SIR
>>25647562
Good post.
One of the biggest red flags for redditors is when they'll bring up a meme when it's not even relevant to the discussion, and completely out of context. They'll say a meme for the sake of saying it, at every given opportunity, to feel like they're part of the community.

Pretty much this. There's always an influx of new posters every time there's some big event like gamergate or the recent shootings, they mostly shitpost, get banned, see something "disgusting" and leave. Some stay and shitpost.
Anyone who has visited this site pre 2012 knows how to spot a redditor, tumbr user or a facebook user easily, the smart ones just don't reply to them.
Newfriends aren't necessarily redditors or other fags "exploring the deep webz O_O", some are travelers from other less known sites and cultures coming here to discuss things relevant to their interests.
But it is pretty fun fucking with redditors and making them mad every now and then.
>>25647562
Have you ever been wrong?

can you hang yourself you fuckin braindead retard, that is fuckin unable to get a tripcode

>However perhaps deep down they don't want to know the truth, perhaps they find comfort in those little up pointing arrows.
Damn.
>>25647562
you need to re-adjust your filters, because i post desu senpai i have been here since the site opened and i'm an old fucking weird man who jerks off to loli in his 30s, i'm pretty much /r9k/ - the human being on a bunch of levels. at the least i am a career poster.
i get what you mean though. redditors are very
>Haha epic for the win :D
desperate to fit in. even if it's not quite like that, they tend to let out a thousand little signals that they aren't from here.
also, anyone getting offended, for any reason ever. i may not like everything i read here, but because i've been here long enough, i don't reply to it with "WOW!!! GOOD LUCK GETTING A GF WITH THAT ATTITUDE :/ SO RUDE.." but normies and women do it every time.
they don't understand that it's not about what opinions you hold, it's about the fact that you get so annoyed by someone being outside the status quo or different from your received orthodoxy, that you need to try to force them back into normalcy by telling them vaginas won't have sex with them. oh no!!!
>>25648246
Hostile motherfuckers give me cottonmouth, why you gotta give me cottonmouth?
>>25648060
dip.
>>25647562
The only thing I can add to this is that pepe posters might be a bit hard to spot if they're actually relevant; that was 100% ironic to begin with. I suppose it's noticeable when they focus on the meme rather than having the image there as an extra frill.
>post something realistic on 4chan
>angry normies reply getting angry about reality
>>25647562
reddittor basically means all non-right wingers
>>25648248
This one hit me pretty hard too. I can't help but feel sorry for some of the reddit users. There was a thread on here about some guy on reddit on some advice subreddit that got c.uckolded and after that made an edit in his post after being called a bitch several times, something along the lines of "and for those who are saying I need to keep my woman in line, please check what century you're living in".
After that thread I visited reddit some more to gain some info, it's apparent that the site is very "feminine" and safe. It's a place for so called beta orbiters who get their advice on women from AskWomen. It's a very sad thing when a person is completely oblivious to how the safe haven he visits doesn't correspond to the real world.
>>25648505
/pol/ please, not everything is red and blue, right and left.
>>25647562
It's posts like this that make this site. Every now and then there comes a peak.
