Come play Darkscape. It's new so you can start fresh, and it's for PVP. You get 1.33x regular runescape XP if you're f2p, and 2x regular runescape XP if you're p2p. That way you can get into this a lot quicker and start Pking. Combat update comes out monday which is supposed to make this a lot better, and they're gonna start advertising. Please come play :^ )

New rcing method, you have to mine the rune ess blocks, use them on an altar, and then chip the blocks with a chisel before crafting runes.
New RC method from the continent update, similar to runespan but less afk and you actually get runes
I think it's like 50k an hour, takes 2 and a half minutes to fill your inv up with ess, crafting on an altar is a huge xp drop like 2.5k for bloods, more for souls

You're mostly not wrong. Lots of clans, and a lot of clan drama with lots of fighting. One of the clans has a monopoly on Warbands that has to be contested a lot. It can be autistic like that, but I'm quite sure other features that will be added soon that will allow you to start 1v1ing people. But clans are pretty important :/

I mean whether you guys want to play Darkscape is up to you. I'm bias as hell, and it's just my opinion. But maybe try it out after monday when the combat update comes out. You won't waste too much time since its 1.33x for f2p, and you get all member benefits as f2p. So you won't waste much time or money to try it out. If you haven't already that is.

I think 07 is more about keeping the feel of the original game, and not about never adding new content and having the game exactly like how it was in 2007.

Same thing with OSRS. I'm enjoying Darkscape a lot, even just skilling and no PVP, because of the double XP. It still takes over a hundred hours for all of the skills(except cooking and fletching and skills like that obviously) but it's not too outrageous in time needed to get 99.

The requirements to even start training the Skill are 80 Crafting, Smithing and Divination. And it goes up to Level 120 like Dungeoneering.
