cheesecake will make you feel slightly better for about 30 minutes with little to no side effect apart from the empty calories (only an issue if youre fat)
the bourbon will make you feel a whole lot better for hours, depending on how long and how much you drink. but the side effect will be the hangover which will be like the depression you are feeling now x10, for a day or two afterward.
