think about every sequel to any good film that came out after 2001, they were all bad, over produced and horribly scripted. Alien Resurrection, all the Predator sequels, the Bond films, Fast and the Furious, The Matrix, Starship Troopers (Matrix and Starship were both in the box office at the same time.), that horrible Indiana Jones, Tron, Transformers.

it was good till 2009, then it got worse till 2011 which was the last good year then 2012 was ok but since then it's been shit.
I don't know about the whole world, but my life started to accelerate downhill as of early 2006, following a 2-year start of the end that seems like a peaceful limbo in hindsight, an era of hope during which I had little appreciation of just how worse it could get. It was February 2006 when I missed my last chance to kill myself and die an up and coming, yet unfortunately troubled youth, to leave this world as a Might Have Been, rather than the Never Was I ended up becoming. I might even throw a tiny private party for the 10 year anniversary of the death of my hopes, listening to tunes of that godforsaken year and whatnot.

Born in 88 and I also felt the change after 2001, things never went back to how they were again.
As a western kid I remember the 90s as a wild, happy, bright sunny days, new tech every year, enjoying vidya, watching anime, all those crazy euro pop songs, families being happy etc. Obviously it's all biased from my point-of-view and me still being a kid.
However I hope I'm not the only one who felt the weather has changed a lot in the past few decades. Feels like we don't even have real seasons anymore.

Yea, 2007-2011 anime was really well thought out and gradual. Now anime is just phemenon over-dramatic garbage where the main character is usually put in situations with a woman that weebs can fantasize about.
