Short answer: Yes.
Long answer: Hes suppose to be what the narrator of fight club sees as a "Man." The narrator creates an alter ego(Tyelr) because he feels he no longer has an identity.
So yes, he is a "chad," but the moral of fight club is to show that masculinity is not as black and white as it was 100s of years ago. Creating your own masculine identity is a self-full-filling goal. Tyler Durden isnt real.
