Presumably, trip users would not be singled out if there were cookie data to identify users through, because I don't see even a technologically competent country such as Japan to disable cookies en masse; so if they *were* stored, then trip users would be just a minority of all users affected.

And they can't be used for establishing identity/association with posts? Right? There is one for 4chan.org, presumably shared by all subdomains, which expires in a month. Which would be relatively fine.
Though then, there is __cfduid at 4chan.org. It is apparently CloudFlare's. It expires in a year.
