Yes if you're female. You'll have a much easier time getting jobs because a lot of tech companies like to brag about how they have a lot of women employed, and you'll get free beta orbiters for life which will make your school/homework much easier, give you free tutoring, you can join their group projects and not do anything, all the while complaining about how everyone around you is an entitled "nice guy" and you want a "real man", etc.
