OP stay strong. I'm in college: the trick is to never back down in true Trumpian style, but to also be extremely eloquent. I have nothing but liberal professors and am studying a fairly liberal field, and I am generally rewarded for my opinions. You'll learn so much more if you believe something totally contrary to the professor, because the professor will force you to prove yourself out of hatred. Luckily we're in the right, and so long as your profs aren't complete tools, they will recognize well crafted arguments and give you the grades you deserve while possibly allowing you to redpill classmates.
full disclosure: I did drop the fag card once after a professor was clearly going full tumblr on my stance on the confederate flag to get back in her good graces
